Jake
Everyone always asks me how Jake is doing. Well here he is. 6 foot something and 220 lbs. He lives in Vernal and is working for a welding company. He just turned 20 this month. So my kids all range from 2 years old to 20. WOW! This is Harley and Jake.
Here is Jake with his sisters.
Here is Beth, Me, Harley, Jake, Darci and Jene'. We put the camera on a timer so we couldn't quite get Beth to look at the camera.

Beth's Birthday
Funny thing...we didn't have any candles. So my boy scout...(Brad)...made some from q-tips and rubbing alcohol. It actually worked quite well.

Sept 11
It has been a very busy summer and I've been terrible posting pictures. But I had to put a remark about today and what a special day it is, in more ways than one.
Seven years ago today we had a terrorist act that impacted our country more than any other thing in quite a few years. We were violated on our own soil. I remember standing there in shock, wondering if that was the end of the world. I remember the days after mourning for the loss of thousands and for the loss of our security. For several days no planes flew in the air. The skys were silent. To me that was the weirdest thing. For the longest time and even now, I will always look up when I see a plane flying and I'm thankful. Thankful for our freedom.
Two years ago today we welcomed Bethany Olivia Barson into the world. I can't believe my baby is two years old. She is starting to talk and has such a fun personality. She loves all her brothers and sisters and loves when the Lehi bunch come to visit. She is so funny, she almost won't go to bed until all the other kids are in bed. I think she is afraid she'll miss something. She misses her daddy when he's at work. She loves to talk to him on the phone. I think she just likes hearing his voice. He called her this morning and she just smiled. It was so cute! She'll kiss the phone to give him kisses.
So today is a special day. Let's remember our freedom we have and be thankful for it! And we wish Beth a very Happy Birthday.
pictures will be coming soon :-)

We are building this at the very edge of our property line. Maybe a few feet from it. Kind of next to the garden. The kids are really excited to start playing.

Our New Toy
The kids always ask Brad what his next project will be whenever he finishes one. After the backyard was done the kids asked him. He said I'm done. Well, I had another idea. I wanted a playhouse for the kids with swings. I couldn't see spending a ton of money on one that I didn't like all the features. So we are designing our own. It's going to be awesome. This is just one tower. Jayson (my nephew) is spending a couple weeks with us so he is helping Uncle Brad.

Bo found a nice little "chair" in the rock by our camping spot. It was so comfortable that she took a nap.

Bradon's Baptism
Bradon was baptized on April 12, 2008. His dad was able to baptize him. It was a very neat, spiritual experience.
Congratulations Bradon!
